Breeding
At our breeding unit, the parent chicks are treated with careful attention and nourished with superior quality poultry feeds manufactured at our own plant. Our R & D team is constantly finding new ways to enhance nutritional value, and improve palatability and content of the feeds required for the growing chicks. A panel of highly qualified veterinary doctors provides timely Medicare. The level of sanitation and hygiene maintained are at par with International standards. From the 25th week onwards the parent birds start laying eggs. The laid eggs are graded and only the best are selected for hatching
Hatchery
Eggs are stored in a cool room for a day and then placed in state-of-the-art incubators for 21 days, under scientifically assessed temperature and humidity. We’ve more than 150 most-advanced incubators with high hatching capacity of chicks during each production cycle. Finally, the healthy chicks are selected for the further broiler operations. The stringent grading system allows only the hale and healthy of the lot to the market.
As one of the leading poultry group in integration farming in South India, Shanthi shares its prosperity with 2000 satisfied farmers as business family members. They are properly trained in the vital areas like sanitation, hygiene, medical care and medication, as well as the carefully planned feeding systems and processes.
Feeds
To feed our chicks with superior quality Poultry feeds, we have set up our own most modern and advanced production units in more than ten locations. Our production capacity is a whopping thousand tons per day.
Since we have added a Pellet Feed Mill Our manufacturing operations, we are expecting to increase the production capacity considerably.
